Career Ambassadors

Our Careers Ambassadors are three dedicated Year 12 students: Orin, Lucy and Amelie. They help promote careers activities and opportunities around the school, support events, and bring fresh ideas to our careers programme. Their enthusiasm helps make exploring future pathways more engaging for everyone.

Careers & Enterprise Team

Our Careers & Enterprise Coordinator, Kayleigh, works closely with our team to bring our careers programme to life. She is supported by our Enterprise Advisor, Lee (Managing Director of Oxden Floors), who brings valuable insight from the world of work to help strengthen our offer and connect students with real-world experiences.

CDI Framework

The CDIs Career Development Framework describes the six learning outcomes that our career development programme focusses on to ensure all students develop the career development skills that they need to have positive careers.

More information can be found in the links below. The next annual review of the careers provision and policy will take place in June 2025.

How We Measure Our Careers Programme

At our school, we want every student to feel confident, informed, and ready to make decisions about their future. To help us measure how well our careers programme is supporting learners, we use the Future Skills Questionnaire (FSQ).

The FSQ is a simple online tool that helps us understand how “career-ready” our students feel at different stages of their education. It gives us valuable insights so we can:

  • Identify areas where learners may need extra support
  • Plan targeted interventions to guide students effectively
  • Evaluate and improve our careers programme
  • Show the real impact of careers education in our school

The questionnaire has been carefully developed with careers leaders and experts, and it is mapped against the Gatsby Benchmarks, the CDI Framework learning outcomes, and the Skills Builder framework for essential skills. This means it’s a reliable way to measure progress and ensure our programme meets national standards.
