  • Student Pastoral Apprentice

    The Howard School

    Salary Apprentice Minimum Wage (£5.42 - £10.42 p/h)

    The Howard School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Student Pastoral Apprentice with immediate effect.

    The successful candidate will be highly motivated, well organised, and have a good attention to detail. The salary for this role is Apprentice Minimum Wage. This is a full time role, working 37 per week, all year round, for the duration of a 1 year Apprenticeship.

    The role will be expected to work during each school term on a full time basis, and complete any apprenticeship studying and coursework during half terms.

  • Teacher of Humanities

    The successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic practitioner who will be able to develop and help drive forward our agenda of continuous improvement.

    This is a permanent, full-time role.

    The salary for this role is MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.

    This is an exciting time to join The Howard with a number of significant changes planned for the future that will support our move towards excellence. We opened a new Science and DT block in November 2021, which saw a fantastic £5m investment in The Howard School from the Department of Education. This state-of-the-art block has been a hit with pupils and staff, helping the pupils to further their learning in a purpose built environment.

  • Caretaker

    The Howard School

    Salary NJC D2 points 4-11 (£23,114 - £25,979_

    The Howard School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Caretaker to join the site team, with effect from April 2024.

    This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week, paid on the basis of the NJC payscale point 4-11.
