The Howard School is a highly inclusive school community where every individual matters. High levels of discipline ensure everyone is expected to work hard and make a positive contribution to the learning environment. The school has been recognised as a Rights Respecting School at Gold Level by UNICEF, the only secondary school in Kent or Medway to receive such an award.

INCREDIBLE ACHIEVEMENT ALERT! We are so proud to share some amazing news from L.C. This weekend, L.C. opened his 400m season at Lee Valley and WOW New PB: 48.63 seconds Currently ranked #3 in Europe (U18!) British Championships qualifying time (normally for senior men! ) This is an outstanding achievement and a huge moment in what is already shaping up to be an exciting season. It's a brilliant example of dedication, hard work, and belief paying off Moments like this remind us what makes our school so special celebrating success, supporting one another, and creating a real sense of belonging Huge congratulations, L.C. Interview ready, Year 11! What a brilliant day for our Year 11s, who took on mock interviews with external employers and absolutely smashed it Students were put through their paces with real interview questions, learning how to talk confidently about their strengths, ambitions, and future plans. From first impressions to firm handshakes and confident answers, this was all about getting ready for the real world of work These experiences are so important in building confidence, resilience, and self-belief skills that will stay with them long after school, whether they're heading to sixth form, college, apprenticeships, or straight into employment. Huge thanks to the employers who gave up their time to support, challenge, and inspire our students And a massive well done to Year 11 you should be incredibly proud of yourselves The future is looking bright
