Thank you for your interest in The Howard School at what I think is a very exciting time to be part of the school’s community. As part of The Howard Academy Trust, we are committed to a shared moral purpose; to make a positive difference to the lives of the young people in our community.
The Howard School is a highly inclusive school community where every individual matters. High levels of discipline ensure everyone is expected to work hard and make a positive contribution to the learning environment. The school has been recognised as a Rights Respecting School at Gold Level by UNICEF, the only secondary school in Kent or Medway to receive such an award.
"Pupils enjoy school and feel valued. The school is inclusive with a real sense of community. Relationships between pupils, and between pupils and staff, are a real strength."

London Trip Update! Following on from this morning's post... our Year 10s have continued to have an amazing day in London We've had some brilliant photos come through of students inside the Great Hall at the Houses of Parliament a real wow moment! They also took part in an interactive petition workshop , learning how people can make their voices heard and influence change in the UK. Democracy in action! Students have been curious, focused and fully engaged throughout asking great questions and making the most of every opportunity. A fantastic example of learning coming to life beyond the classroom What a memorable experience and a brilliant way to end the term! More photos to follow as they come in... watch this space!
WOW! A MASSIVE festive THANK YOU to our incredible parents and carers!
