I am Miss Anglin and am one of the Assistant Heads at The Howard School. Part of my responsibility is leading on the Quality of Education which entails ensuring all teachers are able to recognise what high quality, inclusive teaching is and to support them in delivering the best lessons they can in their subject areas. This ensures our students are to make excellent progress in their different subjects to allow them to choose the pathways they want as they progress from key stage to key stage and then into Higher Education, Further Education or Employment. Under this umbrella of Quality of Education, I am also the lead on Initial Teacher Training. Whether it is work experience candidates looking to pursue a teaching career, teachers who are embarking on an Initial Teacher Training Pathway or those who have recently qualified and are in their early years of teaching, I will work closely with our dedicated ITT Team to ensure they have the right start in their career with The Howard School. I have worked at this school for over a decade and have seen the significant improvements we have made to ensure the education for all of our students- both academic and personal development- is the strongest it can be. I enjoy the challenge every day offers and seeing our students thrive!
