As Deputy Head Teacher, one of my responsibilities is "Raising Standards". The purpose is to ensure all students academically achieve the best grades possible by the time they leave the school in Year 11 or Year 13. This is achieved by regular detailed analysis of pupil progress data collected periodically throughout the year. We then identify students in need of support and work with Heads of Department and Heads of Year to ensure appropriate targeted strategies are put in place to ensure at least good progress is made by all. I also work closely with the Teaching & Learning team, supporting our staff to ensure Quality First Teaching in each and every lesson.
