All THAT Academies benefit from a selection of facilities to hire during evenings, weekends and school holidays. These include Gymnasiums, School Halls, a Table Tennis Centre, Classrooms, Dance and Drama studios. We have areas for caravans and motorhomes and can accommodate events.
Our pitches are used by local community grassroot football clubs such as Medway United FC and Woodpecker FC. Kent County Clubs including Dover Academy and Faversham Strikeforce use our pitches.

Facilities at The Howard
Main Hall
Our main hall provides a flexible facility to meet your requirements, whatever your needs. With a capacity to seat many people (17 x 15m) its flexible options have made it popular to hire in Rainham, Gillingham area of Kent for many different types of events.
The hall has full disabled access, a sound & light system, removable seating, a projector, a stage, access to Wi-Fi and parking, making it fully functional whatever your needs are. Based on your requirements, the room could be set up in many different ways, so please include full details on the booking request.
Dance Studio

Our dance studio is 9 x 8 metres with a sprung floor and mirrored wall.
Drama Studio
Our flexible drama studio is used by local drama clubs and organisations for practice and rehearsals. The space (9x8m) is also suitable for those looking to hire a small studio for dance, aerobics or yoga.

Our table tennis centre is air conditioned, with access to parking.
6th Form Block
Our 6th form block is a large (23x10m) flexible room to meet any requirements. Potential uses include a function room, activity studio and meeting room. The room is equipped with air conditioning, a projector, full disabled access, a stage, Wi-Fi and parking. Given the flexible nature of the facility, please ensure you include details of the event and setup required in your booking request.
The Gallery
This multi function room consists of tiered seating leading down to an area suitable for mini lectures, drama and performing arts classes, dance groups and small exercise classes.
Classrooms
For any tutors or organisations looking for a venue in Rainham, Gillingham area of Kent, we have state of the art facilities suitable for your needs at reasonable prices. All our classrooms are equipped with whiteboards and have access to Wi-Fi and parking. We have a large number of classrooms available, so please contact us directly should you need more than are listed.
Football Pitches
Our pitches are in high demand with clubs & organisations throughout Rainham. Please note the pitch is not floodlit. Changing rooms can be added as part of the hire.
Canteen/Function Room
A large, bright space suitable for conferences, meetings or events. Accessed by a flight of stairs only, this area could be utilised for various informal functions. The dining tables are optional and can be folded and stored away.
Sports Hall

Our sports hall has 4 badminton courts and measures 34 x 17m with markings for pickleball, badminton, basketball, cricket, football, gymnastics and netball. Adjacent to the sports hall are changing and shower facilities which are available as an additional hire. It also has a fantastic viewing balcony for parents and visitors to watch play.
No roller skates permitted upstairs, or ball games to be played on the balcony. For cricket soft balls only - no hard balls.
This facility is popular with the local community in Rainham, Gillingham area of Kent and our prices are very competitive with a range of group activities available during the week.
Note: Our Sports Block does not have disabled access. Although it is on the ground floor level, there are a few steps to access.
Gym 1
Our Gym 1 is 20 x 11m. This area is suitable for a small Zumba club, martial arts etc.
Gym 2
Our gym is 20 x 11m and has markings for badminton and basketball.
